Reunion"Welcome to the jungle!" were the first words I heard when I stepped into my friend's flat. The song was blasting on the stereo. What happened to the Christmas carols which were supposed to be playing instead? It's so easy to forget the Christmas tradition nowadays.. Santa Claus?? Where did he come from? Rudolph the red nose reindeer??o.0 Anyway, it was great to see my ex classmates from my sec school. None of them have changed much, seriously. In terms of looks and character. They have grown more mature though. They were more understanding, more giving, less hot tempered. Other than that. It was like old times, hanging out together, chatting.. having fun. Ain't it fun to get together once in a long while like this? My friend has this irritating dog which kept jumping on me though, and I hated it. I had a bad attitude toward it.. Grrrr.. and the hair of the dog was all over the place.. luckily none of it got stuck on me. I wanted to take my friend's black leather bag to bash the dog, LoL. The food was excellent too. We had turkey (of cos), roast beef, ham, stuffed fowl, salad, wine, vodka, pastries.. etc. Only thing which was lacking was beer. Forgot to buy. But there was wine and vodka. Oh well, anything goes la. We were supposed to wait for 1 more friend to come before eating but he was held back in camp.. so before anyone started to lose his patience and throw a fit, haha, we decided to eat first. "Stuffed like a turkey" was how I felt after eating. If I ate anymore I would end up in a coma..haha. We were making so much noise too, playing guitar and Tekken on PS2. The neighbours were probably thinking that they are living right next door to hell. Who cares, we were having fun lol. Time really flies, we've known each other for like 14 years or more. It was just like a few yesterdays ago that we were in sec school. I was glad to see Jansen there too. Just 1 guy didn't turn up though.. he had an emotional breakdown and didn't feel like coming. Gosh.. really hope that he's alright. It was getting late and everyone had to leave. I wanted to catch the last nightrain back before I missed it. We all had fun. Oh yes, and as promised and inspired by Sha, there are 12 Guns N' Roses songs in this entry. Can you find them all? A small reward for those who can. It'll be easy for those hard core fans, haha. have fun!

Ok that's enough, I cannot tahan!! Haha.. Anyway, yea, nothing much to blog about for now. Yesterday spent time with Gary at Jalan Kayu and had teochew porridge buffet. Not bad la.. I wouldn't say that it's wonderful. But it's eat all you can, so I am not complaining. Was sick for the past 3 days since sunday night. I think it was the curry I ate at little india :( Got a fever after that.. Still feeling feverish and weak. Think I'll go rest now. See you all soon :)

Introducing my room
Ok, as suggested by Kev, here are a few pics of my room. I know that they are of not too good quality, so pls bear with me. I used my phone cam to take these pics and enlarged them with photoshop and touched them up a bit. Lousy resolution. Anyway, a brief history.. I have been staying in this room for 20 over years already. It's a small room, but cosy in my own way :) People who are unfortunate enough to step into my room will know what I am talking about. It's just nice for 1 person to live in. 2's a crowd. Three is a stampede. LoL. As you can see, it's pretty messed up, compared to Kev's. Well, I am not complaining. I love my room actually, only thing it can get a lil hot in here if the air con is not switched on. Occasionally my dogs will pop in to visit and sleep on the floor. Presenting, my messy room!
An overview of my room.
Another overview pic.
This is where I do all my online stuff etc..
My room door. It's blocked by some of my clothes =X
Some stuff that is in my room :
My bass amp.
This is a familiar pic, if you have been visiting my blog.
My star wars figures collection. People call my room a 'toy shop'.
Another pic of my collection.
Some figures from Japan.
A room is not complete without this. Guess what? No prizes for correct answers though.
My messy DVD/PS2 collection.
Messy CD collection.
That's about all I think. Yup. Nothing much cos it's a small room. Maybe when I get a better cam, I can give you guys a tour of my house. Till then, cheers!

Melbourne'So why are you here for? 'How long will you be here?' 'Where will you be staying?' 'Do you have the address where you will be staying?' 'How much cash do you have with you?' 'Anything to declare?' 'What's in your bag?' 'Any drugs, alcohol or weapons with you?' 'Who will you be staying with? A friend? What's he doing in Australia?' 'So you're here to watch Motley Crue?'
'YES!' MOTLEY CRUE! I was shouting it in my head. Those questions and more were asked by an Australian customs officer. As expected, they were strict, very strict and detailed. They checked and checked over and over again, as if hoping to find some drugs or bomb components on me. But too bad for them, they didn't find any. They were professional though, stern but friendly in a way. Oh well, blame OBL.
So I was in Melbourne for a week. This is my 3rd time there already. 1st time was with my parents, 2nd time was with John Foo, and this time, with Marvin and Alan. "What am I doing here" was the constant question in my head, seriously. I was not very keen on coming here again. I had mixed feelings. Good because I will get to see some old friends. Bad because it's a waste of money coming here again. I should have gone somewhere else. Nevermind, I enjoyed myself very much still. Melbourne is a great place to stay/live. The people here, many of them, are friendly and more considerate. Even the drivers give way to pedestrians though they have the right of way. The weather at this time is mad. It's like 4 seasons in a week. Hot, cool, cold, HOT, breezy.. Stayed with our awesome hosts John and Nan Nan. Here are some photos which we took :

Our awesome hosts

Their cute baby girl, Elsa.

This is the Melbourne church.

Unripened grapes. Shot taken in Yarra Wine Valley.

John and me.

Nan Nan and me.

Another stupid shot.

Husband and wife to be, Ford and Verlin.

John bore a fruit! Yong, a Vietnamese guy who is also John's classmate.

And one of the main reasons why we were there.
That's all for now. Gotta rush off. Gonna watch King Kong later with some friends. Bruce said it's a bad show. Hmm. I'll judge for myself. Cheers!
